"Real Estate has been in a bull market since the first cave man moved into the first cave."

From inception, the owners of Foundations Investment Group, the FIG, have had a vision to get out of the box when it came to financial planning and include real estate, typically the largest piece in one's financial pie.

The founders and visionaries of the FIG took the above quote to heart and asked the question, how do we help people shift their investment habits and mindsets to include Real Estate as the center of their financial portfolio? The Fig came to realize that there are financial solutions that are proven and stable, yet innovative and contemporary. The hallmark of the company has been building asset plans with a heavy emphasis on asset backed investment tools. This has positioned us with a unique advantage in the marketplace.

The overwhelming majority of people are not remotely prepared to create or maintain financial security based on the traditional financial planning model. It is imperative that people have a plan in place that includes and offers opportunities to look forward to a life where freedom of choice exists. Through a unique, client centered business model and strategic partnerships, the FIG has pursued a vision to create an international audience for its value proposition.

Foundations Investment Group or FIG is our name and our chosen symbol, and the reason is Figs have as long and as rich a history as real estate; it goes back to the Garden of Eden, even before the caveman discovered shelter. The fig tree figures in the founding of many great cultures and religions. Figs are served at the Jewish Passover celebration, the ruler of Attica who actually made it illegal to export figs out of Greece, reserved solely for the Grecians, to while sitting under a fig tree, Siddhartha Gautama's revelation that formed the foundations of Buddhism. The Romans made the fig tree a sacred tree and all images of Gods were often crowned with fig leaves. Pliny, the Roman author, said, "Figs are restorative. They increase strength of young people, preserve the elderly in better health and make them look younger with fewer wrinkles." Figs are also mentioned in Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, by Aristophanes, Herodotus and Cato. Also, reported to be a favorite of Cleopatra until the asp that killed her emerged from her last helping of her favorite fruit. Another little known fact about this ancient snack is that every inhabitant of Athens, including Plato himself, were referred to as 'Phylosyko', literally translated, "a friend of the fig".
