Our Team

Thomas J. Bauer, President and CEO
Is a proven senior executive and entrepreneur, with almost 25 years of industry and start-up experience. Much of Tom’s early career was been spent in the Medical Device/Healthcare Services arena, though his current involvement in real estate and asset-backed investing is where he derives his true motivation.

Tom attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Psychobiology and his Masters in Higher Education Administration. In addition, a significant portion of course work was in the doctoral-level program in the School of Psychology. At the time of his attendance, Tom was the youngest student ever to take doctoral-level courses at the School of Psychology.

Tom began his career in medical sales, and quickly became entranced with marketing. He worked for organizations such as American Hospital Supply and Pfizer in product management and marketing services. Tom also worked in advertising as director of client services for a regional advertising firm. From there, he went on to found two successful medical companies, taking one of them public.

An active investor in real estate, he resides in Palm Springs, CA and spends time helping corporations and individuals deal with the issues, challenges, and excitement of real estate and asset-backed investing.

Paul Caudell, Executive Vice President
An Avid Real Estate Investor and expert in real estate investment, Paul has extensive training and experience in systems management and process. His understanding of how people learn, helps in creating the type of highly effective internal education and sales programs every company needs to expand and thrive.

Paul has been involved in the real estate and financial services industries for the last six years. Before working with Foundations Investment Group, Paul spent the bulk of his career with McDonald’s Corporation, where he spent 12 years working in both operations and training. He excelled in Systems Management, and put together an award-winning program for the training of Shift Managers. There clearly is no better company to learn from than McDonald’s as it relates to process, duplication, and training. Paul learned invaluable lessons on how to help a company grow and succeed.

Paul grew up near Eugene Oregon and attended college at the University of Oregon. Summers were spent with Athletes In Action behind the Iron Curtain where he learned a lot about the human spirit and how it survives. During those years, the insatiable fire of the human spirit and unrelenting willpower to succeed he witnessed every day, helped create in him a determination and passion to help others find ways to succeed when obstacles seemed insurmountable.

Glenn R. Sigmund, Executive Vice President
Glenn Sigmund has 30 years of real estate and organization development experience focused on creating growth and profitability within a variety of professional fields with an emphasis on real estate and real estate-related companies. Known for taking companies that have not yet reached their potential and creating a new path for success, Sigmund brings an unquestionable passion for organization development focused on all aspects leading to profitability. He has received national recognition for his successes including the co-development of an internationally recognized program that address the relationship of productivity, profitability, and people management.

Sigmund clearly understands the needs and infrastructures of developing organizations and how to move an organization forward. With extensive experience in real estate sales, marketing, management, and consulting, Sigmund has a proven track record of success on all levels of real estate sales and development. From the local level to national and international platforms, he has guided real estate organizations to success. He holds a BA from Grinnell College, an M ED from National-Louis University, and a MSOD degree from Pepperdine University. In addition to serving on a number of non-profit boards, Sigmund is a certified hospice volunteer and volunteers with various local health and human services organizations.
